At the Oxford Department of International Development (ODID), where OPHI is one of the research centres, our research addresses some of the most pressing issues of our time, from migration and refugees to radicalisation and conflict, from poverty and inequality to enterprise and innovation, from childhood and adolescence to global governance and the environment.

Our work takes us out of libraries and lecture halls to engage in direct research in the field, learning from communities and individuals across the world. In this exhibition you will see some of the fruits of that global engagement.

This exhibition is part of Oxfordshire Artweeks 2016, an annual event during which local artists and craftspeople exhibit their work at venues across the county.
