Policy Applications

The Alkire Foster method for multidimensional measurement has been taken up by policy makers. Bhutan uses the Alkire Foster method to calculate their national measure of wellbeing, the Gross National Happiness Index, and Mexico have used the method to create their new multidimensional poverty measure.
