Biography
Joanne Tomkinson is Research Communications Officer at the Oxford Poverty & Human Development Initiative (OPHI). She has worked in communications in the international development field for nearly five years. Prior to joining OPHI in February 2011, Joanne worked for the Thomson Reuters Foundation, coordinating an international network of humanitarian and development NGOs for the AlertNet and TrustLaw Connect programmes. Before that she worked in a variety of communications roles for Oxfam GB, ending as Web Editor of the Oxfam Education website.
