Biography
Sir Tony Atkinson is a Senior Research Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford . Previously he has taught at Churchill College, Cambridge, as well as at the London School of Economics, of which he is an honorary fellow, and University College, London. He is a Fellow of the British Academy and the American Economic Association, and since 1988 he is President of the Economic Society. He has also been President of the European Academic Association, the International Economic Association, and the Royal Economic Society.
